Say Goodbye to Your Phone’s Home Button
(AFR) – It’s been on the iPhone since Adam was a boy: the simple button that meant, no matter how lost you were inside your phone, there was always one place you could find.
Home.
But now Apple is working on technology that could render your physical home button obsolete (and quite possibly you, too, if you rely on it).
According to a report in DigiTimes, the Taiwanese newsletter with sources deep inside companies that actually make the devices for the tech giants, Apple is working on its own touch-screen designs that will incorporate the home button onto the screen rather than as a seperate button, allowing iPhones to have screens that go almost wall the way to the bottom of the phone.
