The young man has always had high ambitions. As a former Jacksonville Free Press intern, he had the opportunity to shadow staff on media tours and even film celebrity interviews, which allowed him to gain early experience in his field.

In 2017, Jordan was among one of the 100 students selected for the Annual Disney Dreamers Academy in partnership with Steve Harvey and Essence magazine. Thousands of young people apply every year, but only 100 are chosen.

“I’m even more excited to achieve my dreams at Morehouse,” said Jordan.  “My mom and my mentors have prepared me for this moment and with the advice of Steve Harvey and the dreamers, free press staff, family and friends in my class, I’m more than ready.”
