Phi Beta Sigma Adds a Few Good Men to Its Rolls
JACKSONVILLE FREE PRESS — The Nu Beta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., added four new members to their roster over the weekend. The ceremony was held at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Beta Alpha Zeta sorority house, their sister chapter.

The Nu Beta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., added four new members to their roster over the weekend. The ceremony was held at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Beta Alpha Zeta sorority house, their sister chapter.
“I enjoy this time every year. We are proud to welcome the new members into the chapter. These men are educated, competent and ready to commit to the community,” said fraternity brother, Jason Edgar. Throughout their membership process, inductees are encouraged to develop their leadership skills to become more effective and empowering leaders.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., January 9, 1914.
Over its one hundred plus years of existence, the fraternity has focused on improving the global community through service.
They also have a national mentoring program for males ages 8-18 to prepare them for college and the workforce. Next up for the chapter is the Brother and Sister’s luncheon, September 29th, 2 p.m. at Emanuel Baptist, 2407 Rev. S.L. Badger Jr. Circle, honoring fraternity and sorority’s members of the year.
