The Lawson State Community College Choir quartet performed Christmas songs at the Birmingham Public Library, Central Branch on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018. The quartet performed Christmas favorites like “Silent Night,” “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” “Joy to the World,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “The Christmas Song.” The quartet was directed by Dr. Jillian Johnson, music professor at Lawson State and included students (from left) Jemanuel Pullom, Javaris Williams, BreAna Doss and Kayla King.

The Lawson State Community College Choir quartet performed Christmas songs at the Birmingham Public Library, Central Branch on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018.

The quartet performed Christmas favorites like “Silent Night,” “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” “Joy to the World,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “The Christmas Song.”

The quartet was directed by Dr. Jillian Johnson, music professor at Lawson State and included students Jemanuel Pullom, Javaris Williams, BreAna Doss and Kayla King.

King had a solo and sang “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” as well as Williams, who sang “The Christmas Song.”
