NAACP Observes 400th Anniversary of Slave Trade in Journey from Jamestown to Jamestown

NNPA NEWSWIRE — The two-week-long observance included a Monday, August 19, visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture which was followed by a trip to Ghana, West Africa, and onto Jamestown – thus the organization’s theme: “Jamestown to Jamestown.”
