Facebook Rolls Out ‘Lite’ Version

(USA Today) – Facebook rolled out a new version of the social network that will work well across all network conditions — including those with poor connectivity.
Facebook Lite is available for Android and less than 1MB, Facebook said.
This new version of the app uses less data than the regular Facebook app, and is quick to install and load. It is boiled down to its core features — status updates, photos, and notifications — so it can efficiently function with less data.
