Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade Completes 4-Day Executive Course at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE (BleacherReport.com) — Dwyane Wade is probably used to playing basketball in June, but since his Miami Heat failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2008, he has to occupy his time in other ways. Besides joining ABC’s NBA Finals coverage as a guest analyst, Wade enrolled in and completed a four-day executive education program at Harvard called “The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports.”
Per the school’s website, “The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports focuses on the unique challenges of developing, distributing, and marketing a successful entertainment offering,” and students will “examine the crucial elements of effective talent management and entertainment business strategies.”
From the court to the classroom, Wade put in work.
