2027 VW Atlas SEL Premium R Line Worth $58,135?
Is the 2027 VW Atlas SEL Premium R Line worth $58k? Roosevelt with AutoNetwork breaks down passenger space, comfort, and more to help you decide.

Is the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas SEL Premium R-Line worth $58,135, including destination? Roosevelt with AutoNetwork examines what matters before you buy this three-row family SUV.
Finished in Sacramento Green, this Atlas offers a quiet cabin, a comfortable ride, easy entry and exit, and third-row space that accommodated a taller passenger. But the front seat told a different story: supportive overall, with a cushion that felt short beneath the thighs.
This AutoNetwork Advisor review focuses on seven buying decisions: passenger space, daily comfort, front-seat fit, engine response, visibility, useful technology, and whether the top trim earns its price.
The updated 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces 282 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic. I found it had plenty of power for highway passing and interstate merging, but it hesitated when starting from a stop. Those are two different situations you should test yourself.
Inside, real wood accents and premium features create an upscale atmosphere. The SEL Premium R-Line adds Nappa leather, enhanced front-seat massage, Harman Kardon audio, Area View, and Park Assist Plus. The question is whether you will use those upgrades enough to justify spending more.
I also discuss dashboard reflections on the windshield, checking seat adjustments, trying your own phone with the wireless chargers, and testing the third row with your passengers.
Pricing is based on the supplied $56,610 trim MSRP plus $1,525 destination. I do not have this vehicle’s window sticker; options, taxes, and fees are additional. Driving impressions reflect my experience with this vehicle.
Watch through to the final verdict, then compare my GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate advisor review using the end screen.
Would you choose this Premium R-Line or save with a lower Atlas trim? Tell me what would decide it for you.
